Dr. Austin Schmitmeyer - Veterinarian

Dr. Austin Schmitmeyer was born and raised in west-central Ohio. A lifelong Buckeyes fan, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from The Ohio State University. He then continued his education there, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

After graduation, he traded Ohio winters for Arizona sunshine and relocated to the Phoenix area. His professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Schmitmeyer enjoys backpacking, cooking, and spending time outdoors. He shares his home with two cats, Mr. Cheddar Cheese and Coors Light, and his yellow Labrador Retriever, Peanut.
