Dr. Brianna Rooney - Veterinarian

Dr. Brianna Rooney is an Arizona native, growing up in Gilbert.

She knew from four years of age that she wanted to be a veterinarian and was extremely committed to achieving that goal ever since. Due to dog and cat allergies in her family, her pets were initially limited to the scaly variety, including spade-foot toads, a leopard gecko, hermit crabs, and fish before adopting her first furry creature, a guinea pig named Patches, for her eleventh birthday.

Her initial limitation in pet possibilities inspired her interest in exotic animal medicine and her subsequent veterinary technician work at a local exotics limited clinic throughout high school and during her undergraduate career at the University of Arizona. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona, she attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. Upon graduation, she moved back to Arizona to begin her career as a veterinarian.

In her free time, Dr. Rooney enjoys baking, reading, hiking with her husband and her three dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.
